TEFLON TANK LID PACKING
Teflon tank lid packing is a braided packing manufactured from hollow-centred elastomer core, over braided with propylene fibers and PTEE filaments. The successive PTEE coating provides gas and liquid’s moisture barrier. The hollow-centred elastomer core provides the packing eslaticity and compressibility. The unique core construction enables the packing to be welded together to form an endless seal.
Applications
Typical applications are for static cargoes, chemical tanks, liquid transport oil tanks, ship-building and tank trucks. It will protect the cargo from sea-water ingress and prevent any environment contamination.
